It is no news to anyone that, globally, there has been a worrying talent shortage in recent years.
According to Monpower Group's 2025 report, nearly 3 out of 4 employers worldwide report having difficulty finding the talent they need, or 74%. this figure has doubled since 2014 when it mapped at 36%. The transportation, logistics and automotive sectors are some of the top sectors with the greatest difficulties in this regard, as are manufacturing and information technology.
